I'd have gone up to a slightly higher iso and f/number to get a little more sharpness. -- my gallery contains some bugs. Botanical Garden in Vienna. There were quite a few of them there!
The good thing about this place is that the ponds are fairly small. I guess the female was trying to lay eggs, so they kept returning to the same spot, they couldn't just fly a long way off as they could have done with a bigger pond/lake. Dunno if you have been there yet. It's a nice place for photography. Last Friday, the lotos flower was in bloom, the huge cacti are stunning when the sun is low and lighting them from behind. I saw a duck mum with two young ones, a metallic wasp, lots of dragonflies, a few damselflies, tons of beautiful flowers... Thanks for commenting! |
