Description
Some snow for ~alaister
Taken a few days ago. Had to use an umbrella to prevent my camera from getting too wet. You can even see the snowflakes fallin down if you look closely.
Desaturated and curves tweaked for more contrast in PS. It's in "Urban & Rural" because this brook is far from natural. No natural river banks...all straightened and regulated with concrete.

First off, a really beautiful picture! I love the depth perception of the river and the trees, and the fact that you can actually see the snow falling is extraordinary! This style of photo would look good in either color or black and white, but with the dark stream and the snow, it fits perfectly to a black and white photo. The one rock (ice?) floating on the river near the right bottom corner kind of looks like a heart! It gives new perspective to, what could be, another meaning for the picture. So, in all, an amazing photo, great work, (to be frank), and I absolutely love it!
